Grand Canyon Cowboy Experience from Las Vegas
Tour Details:
This tour is the ultimate off-the-beaten-path Grand Canyon getaway! With Papillon's Grand Canyon Cowboy Experience, you'll visit Bar 10 Ranch near the rugged north rim of the Grand Canyon via a sightseeing airplane, then explore the Grand Canyon aboard an ATV or Polaris Ranger tour. Enjoy touring the ranch house, meeting and feeding a horse, a lasso demonstration, and time to explore authentic covered wagons before a homemade barbeque lunch prepared by the ranch staff.
Step into the history of the American West on this authentic cowboy adventure from Las Vegas. Experience the iconic cowboy lifestyle when you fly to Bar 10 Ranch, a working cattle ranch located in the remote Grand Canyon region just north of the Colorado River. Surrounded by rugged desert landscapes, dramatic canyon scenery, and breathtaking views, Bar 10 offers a unique opportunity to experience the beauty of the world-famous Grand Canyon and surrounding region away from the crowds.
Your adventure begins with transport to our air terminal in Boulder City, Nevada. Check in and board your airplane for a breathtaking flight over the western United States, including the Mojave Desert, Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, and the Colorado River before arriving at the historic Bar 10 Ranch near the Grand Canyon North.
Upon landing, you’ll be welcomed to Bar 10 Ranch, a working cattle ranch surrounded by rugged desert landscapes and spectacular canyon scenery. Join a professionally guided Polaris Ranger off-road tour through spectacular Whitmore Canyon to a breathtaking overlook of the Grand Canyon including views of the surrounding region. Enjoy time to explore and take photos while experiencing the beauty and remoteness of this remarkable area.
Back at Bar 10, guests can tour the historic ranch house and learn its story. You can also meet, pet, and feed a horse – a great photo opportunity. Watch a lasso and roping demonstration and try it for yourself. The ranch also offers skeet shooting, a newly-constructed pickleball court, and authentic Western covered wagons that you can explore and use as a photo backdrop. This day trip from Las Vegas also includes an incredible Western-style homemade barbecue lunch prepared by the ranch staff.
Located in one of the most remote and spectacular areas near the Grand Canyon, Bar 10 Ranch offers an unforgettable way to experience the landscapes, history, and spirit of the American West. With its dramatic scenery and secluded setting, this is a side of the Grand Canyon region that few visitors—and even fewer international travelers—ever get to experience.
