Visit Clearwater Marine Aquarium to learn about all the rescued and resident animals, fun for the entire family! Enjoy the views of Clearwater Bay from the harbor view deck and stranding deck. Discover a variety of animals including dolphins, pelicans, sea turtles, otters, sharks, and other animals. The presentations and talks throughout the day aim to educate you in a fun way about the work going on to take care of the marine life and the environment. Plenty of free time to enjoy the white sands of Clearwater Beach is also included in this day trip from Central Florida!

We transport you to the West Coast, where you will have free time to enjoy on Clearwater Beach.

Then, during the day, you will visit the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Their unique facility is home to underwater viewing windows, a hands-on stingray beach, and many other one-of-a-kind animal homes and exhibits that are truly different. You can also hear the Legacy of Winter the dolphin, who was a recused dolphin who made it as a Hollywood star, of DolphinTail movies!

Not your typical aquarium, Clearwater Marine Aquarium believes in preserving our environment while inspiring the human spirit through leadership in the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of marine life; environmental education; research; and conservation.

At CMA learn about all the rescued and resident animals. Catch some of the daily presentations and make sure to watch the daily programs in the theatre. Boat tours, animal care experiences and behind-the-scenes tours will add at least another hour to your day and can be added on at ticketing. Enjoy the views of Clearwater Bay from the harbor view deck and stranding deck. Discover a variety of animals including dolphins, pelicans, sea turtles, otters, sharks, and other animals. Many residents cannot be released due to a variety of reasons, so you can visit them in their permanent habitats and learn their stories. See several animals currently undergoing rehabilitation in the working animal hospital. The presentations and talks throughout the day aim to educate you in a fun way about the work going on to take care of the marine life and the environment. 100% of your visit to Clearwater Marine Aquarium helps fund our vital mission of rescue, rehab, and release.

Following time at the aquarium you will be able to enjoy all afternoon on Clearwater Beach. This white sand beach has a promenade and pier that can be strolled along, you can take a dip in the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico and just enjoy your free time in this area.

Returning to Orlando in the afternoon, you will be back in Orlando around 6:30pm traffic dependent

Departs Orlando at approx. 09:00  (please note that this time is once all pick up locations have been collected. Your time on the bus may be upto 3 hours)

Arrival at Clearwater at approx. 11:00

Arrival in Orlando at approx. 20:00 (please note that this time is the earliest drop off. Your time on the bus may be upto 3 hours)

PERSONAL ITEMS: Camera, Sunscreen and beach towels. Any beach equipment required.

 

DRESS CODE: Casual and comfortable, beach wear 

All timings are approximate and subject to change. Food and drinks are included only when noted in the inclusions. No other food or drink is included within the tour product and guests are advised to take money to purchase them as necessary. Gratuities are not included for the tour guides or drivers. Many guests often ask us what a normal gratuity is, and we regularly state $2 per person for the tour driver and $2 for the guide. Gratuities are not mandatory but are encouraged upon receipt of good service.

Wheelchair Bound Guests

If you require a wheelchair, please be sure to tell us. There are 2 forms of wheelchairs: collapsible manual chairs, and non-foldable electric wheelchairs.  It is very important to know what type of chair you will be travelling with. There are multiple vehicles with wheelchair lifts and these can normally accommodate wheelchair bound clients; however, the vehicles need special reservations. Be sure to confirm this with us at time of booking, as we need to ensure the vehicle is available when you would like to take the tour.
