The Whaley House After-Hours Paranormal Investigation gives you exclusive access to rooms that are not part of the daytime tours, including spaces where members of the Whaley family lived and died. Led by an experienced guide, this is a hands-on experience using professional ghost-hunting tools such as EMF detectors, digital spirit boxes, infrared thermometers, motion sensors, and ambient temperature monitors.
Learn about the darker side of the legendary Whaley House as you explore each room, scan for changes in energy, and listen for possible communication from beyond. With small group sizes and limited availability, every investigation feels personal, focused, and completely immersive.

With the help of our experienced guides, each guest will be provided with and trained to use an array of traditional and state-of-the-art ghost-hunting equipment, or feel free to bring your own. With a wide variety of tools of the trade, you’ll attempt to find evidence of ghosts and other supernatural beings. Join us for a spine-tingling evening unlike any other as you connect with the “other side”.
TIP: Don’t forget to bring your cell phone. It is an all-in-one ghost-hunting tool.
This tour involves navigating stairs and uneven terrain as you explore a historic site, much of which is dimly lit to preserve the storytelling ambiance. Comfortable and appropriate footwear is strongly recommended. ADA access is available for the first floor.
