Munich Essentials Bike Tour

Join us for our Munich Essentials Bike Tour and get to know one of Germany’s most interesting capital cities, in around half the time of a regular bike tour! Your expert, local tour guide will explain Munich’s cultural origins, show you the best of Munich’s architecture, both old and new, as well as give you a primer on Munich’s unfortunate role in the rise of Adolph Hitler and National Socialism. After riding through the Königsplatz, you’ll have time to view the river surfers at the Eisbach Wave. You might even get the chance to wave a friendly greeting to the local royal family at the Münchner Residenz - the former royal palace of the Bavarian royal family.

This two and a half hour tour is a perfect introduction and overview of a beautiful, historic city. For busy travellers, the best way to experience a new city is like a local - by bike!

Guest Requirements:

• All guests must be able to ride a bicycle on their own (unless on attachments)

• Double trailers for toddlers and tag-a-long attachments available at an additional cost upon request.

• The tour is conducted at a moderate pace, competent cycling skill is required.

• No guest under the age of 18 will be given a bike without an adult over the age of 18 present.

• Please bring one government-issued photo ID to be retained as a deposit for all rentals and a credit card to be kept on file for the security of the bikes.

Cancellation Policy:

Can cancel up to 24 hours in advance without penalty. No refund for cancellation within 24 hours.
