Colors & Canyons Helicopter and Ground Tour departing from Phoenix and Scottsdale

The multiperspective adventure begins with a comfortable journey aboard a Detours executive-style van through the Sonoran Desert filled with native saguaro cactus. You will witness the changing landscape as you head north from classic desert beauty to grasslands to Ponderosa pine forests.

Your journey includes a breathtaking helicopter flight for a 45-minute aerial tour over the Grand Canyon. Your flight will include views of the Kaibab National Forest, the North Rim, and eastern end of the canyon. You will follow the Colorado River upstream to where it merges with the Little Colorado River, enjoying views of the Painted Desert and Desert View Watchtower in the distance. See Marble Canyon and Point Imperial as you climb above the North Rim, head south through the Dragon Corridor (the deepest, widest point in the canyon), and then leave the Grand Canyon, flying over the South Rim back to the airport.

Next, enter Grand Canyon National Park to enjoy awe-inspiring vistas and multiple panoramic overlooks that can only be accessed by foot. Your time within Grand Canyon National Park offers opportunities to walk along the rim, shop, or just take in the splendor of nature.

Then, board the Detours shuttle for the conclusion of your ground tour. Pick-up is included from select Scottsdale and Phoenix area hotels.

Items To Bring: 

• Bring your I.D. - All passengers 18 years or older must have government-issued forms of identification.
  
• Be sure to book your tour as early in your trip as possible.
• Bring a bottle of water. Staying hydrated during your Grand Canyon helicopter landing tour is essential.
• When you visit Las Vegas remember to bring your camera. Cameras and phones are allowed and encouraged on our helicopter tours. However, please be aware that the use of "Selfie Sticks" and extending camera poles are strictly prohibited in and around the aircraft.

Check-In Policy: All customers must be checked in 45 minutes prior to departure. Late arrivals may be denied boarding, and absolutely NO refunds will be issued. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that all passengers are aware of this policy, as Maverick Helicopters will not delay flights for late check-ins.

Identification Requirements: All passengers aged 18 and older traveling within the United States are required to present either a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or a valid passport. Any customer arriving without original, government-issued identification will be denied check-in, and no refunds will be issued for any guest in the reservation. Photocopies or digital images of identification will not be accepted.
