GENERAL NOTES:

All bookings made through Travel House of America (THA) are subject to the terms and conditions stated herein.

All rates quoted in this tariff are confidential, and include all applicable taxes and service charges. Resort fees may or may not be included in the prices, please verify at time of reservations. Rate changes may become necessary due to increases in taxes or other charges and THA reserves the right to alter rates published in this tariff. Should THA only be able to obtain a higher rate over any special event, holiday or convention date, not published in this tariff, THA reserves the right to confirm a higher rate at time of booking.

All products are subject to availability. We will always endeavour to book your tour as requested but where a reservation has to be made with a supplier (not on freesell), this is subject to availability. In the event a tour is not available, an alternative will be recommended where possible. If there is not an alternative then the booking will be cancelled at no cost.

Energy surcharges: Please be aware that if necessary, certain tours reserve the right to charge clients an energy surcharge which is payable directly at the tour operator.

THA acts only as an agent and does not manage any tour provided or other service provided on this site. THA does not assume liability for injury, loss or damage etc. through actions of any of our contracted partners. It is recommended that passengers purchase appropriate insurance.

THA shall not be held responsible for the consequences of Acts of God, fire, weather conditions, unavoidable accidents, theft, labor disputes, public commotion, war or any other circumstance beyond the control of THA.

2. All reservations should be made online or made via e-mail or phone and include the following information:

  • Client name including first name or initial.
  • Tour or ticket type.
  • Number in party (please indicate if children are in the party including ages of children. Please see children's policies noted with each tour).
  • Arrival and departure date.
  • Any applicable requests or remarks.
  • Your full address including phone number and if applicable, e-mail address.

CHILDREN POLICY:

The children policy (where available) is mentioned with each tour or ticket description.

AMENDMENTS/MODIFICATIONS:

Please be aware that the tours reserve the right to deny any kind of booking modification over critical blackout dates. This also applies to name changes. Therefore, please do not confirm any booking modifications to your clients until you have a written confirmation from THA. We will always request the modification with the tour and try our utmost to get it confirmed over blackout dates but since there is no guarantee, we cannot be held responsible should you confirm a modification to your clients without written confirmation from us.

COMPLAINTS:

Should your customers be dissatisfied with any service during their travel through the U.S., they are asked to immediately inform the supplier/hotel or contact our offices. In case we are unable to resolve the problem on the spot, please forward your complaint in writing to our offices within 30 days of completion of travel.

It is essential that all your travel documents provide your customers with our contact information, in case of a problem. If your customers fail to contact us or the supplier with their problem, we cannot accept responsibility for any inconveniences, as we were not given the opportunity to rectify the situation immediately.

HOW TO HANDLE CANCELLATIONS:

1. CANCELLATION POLICIES:

For all cancellations for tickets and tours, THA’s reservation department will fax or email you a cancellation confirmation, acknowledging the receipt of the cancelled ticket or tour. If you do not receive a return confirmation from us, do not assume that we received your transmittal! Please understand that we are unable to waive any no-show fees unless you are able to provide us with our aforementioned cancellation confirmation. Therefore, please always make sure that you do receive a cancellation confirmation from us. Tickets and Tours that are cancelled and for which we are able to issue a refund will be subject to a 20% cancellation charge. Please note exclusions below.

DISNEY TICKETS: We cannot accept returns of any Disney tickets once they have been issued to you. Disney tickets will not be released until full payment is made.

All bookings for Discovery Cove are subject to 100% cancellation fees within 30 days of your booked visit. There can be no refunds for amendments (for example to change from Swim to Non Swim) or cancellations within this period.

Conditions of suppliers. Many of the services which make up your arrangements are provided by independent suppliers. Those suppliers provide these services in accordance with their own terms and conditions. Some of these terms and conditions may limit or exclude the supplier's liability to you. Copies of the relevant parts of these terms and conditions (if any) are available on request from ourselves or the supplier concerned.

HOW TO PAY:

See below or go to our PAYING YOUR INVOICES page.

1. PREPAYMENT:

For all bookings, Travel Trade Tickets and Tours a deposit of £75 pounds (or equivalent currency) per person or 20% of the invoice total, whichever is higher, is required to hold the reservation. Balance is due 8 weeks prior to departure. Only FULL prepayment guarantees that the exchange rate will be held. Reservations which have not been fully prepaid by that date will be automatically cancelled.

2. SPECIAL PAYMENT CONDITIONS:

For certain clients and/or bookings, prepayment more than 15 days might be required and will be advised at time of booking.

3. WHERE TO PAY:

All payments are due in the currency invoiced. Bank transfers may also be made to our UK account using the following details;

Payment can also be made by credit/debit card. Credit Card payments will incur a fee of 2%.

4. GENERAL PAYMENT INFORMATION :

Australia and Canada accounts are listed under PAYING YOUR INVOICES

All service fees charged to THA by credit institutes for wire transfers, check deposits and/or establishing of Letter of Credit are your sole responsibility and will be billed back to you upon THA’s discretion. Fees billed back to you are due upon receipt of invoice.

A floating deposit or Letter of Credit is recommended to assure that late bookings can be processed and to qualify you for direct billing. Please inquire about details to establish a floating deposit or LOC with THA. For other credit terms please contact THA.
